CAFA 35^th Directors' Meeting held in Dongguan in March 16^th, 2016. Organized by CNFA(the Secretariat of CAFA), hosted by Dongguan Famous Furniture Association(3F).

Mr. Zhu Changling made several key work in 2016 CAFA statement: regular meetings and forum activities, shared States furniture industry development, development experiences and discuss Asian information technology development, industrial 4.0, new technologies, new materials; countries visits and trade exchanges, to discuss Asian furniture industry cooperation to support the members of the furniture exhibition held in the exhibition to promote cooperation among Asian members, promote mutual learning among members; organize various exchange activities in China to promote the Chinese furniture industry cooperation with Asian countries. Encourage the import and export trade, technology exchange, docking and other industries; promote standardization, the establishment of Asian furniture for Standardization Organization, International Organization for Standardization efforts and furniture for Standardization Technical Committee (ISO / TC 136) for docking, promote Asian countries standards into international standards, enhance Asia furniture standardization; increased CAFA members, including members of the Association and member companies, countries recommend their members to the Secretariat.

 

Ms. Koh Sok Yan said, CAFA has no official requirements to increase membership, proposed to study the founding members and new members have differences in the membership system.

Dongguan Famous Furniture Association (3F) Deputy Secretary-General Mr. Fang Runzhong said, will continue to support the activities of CAFA, to host the annual Board of Directors, Dongguan furniture Club through more than one exhibition in March, August and September, for foreign companies to set up import-export trade platform in Asia, also hope to establish Asian furniture Pavilion in Dongguan.
 

This meeting is the first meeting of the Federation of Asian furniture in 2016, share the basic data of the local furniture industry, also introduces important developments. Conference was successfully held in 2016 will be the Asian Federation of furniture specific activity is instructive.
